Andrea is the founder of CPGD, a free online resource to discover incredible consumer brands that has now turned into an agency and media company providing Advisory, Growth Consulting, Investing, and more. Andrea is an investor in CPG brands and has worked at high growth companies like Jet, Walmart.com, Prose, and Facebook. She attended the University of Chicago and currently manages all operations of the CPGD business.
We also invited Catalina Castañeda, founder of 2024 CNVC’s only CPG brand, bellie, to join us in the conversation. Bellie makes IBS-friendly herbal tea infused with supercharged prebiotics for optimal gut health, and offers flavors likes ginger lemon and peppermint strawberry. They’re currently launching in the Hyde Park and greater Chicago area.
Ravi Bakhai, Founder @ Hypeshot

Ravi is the founder of Hypeshot.io, a crypto-enabled live streaming platform that was selected as part of YC’s Summer 2022 cohort. Prior to starting his own company, Ravi worked at Deutsche Bank as an investment banking analyst. He was also a Contrary venture scout and worked on product at Tidal.
Max Keenan, Founder @ Aurelian (previously Needl)

A co-founder at Needl, Max attended UChicago from 2017-2021 majoring in Economics. He and his classmates Angela and James were friends throughout college but didn’t create Needl until June of last year. Although Max secured a job in Investment Banking upon graduating, he quit his job and started to work on Needl full-time once it was selected as a part of Y Combinator’s Summer 2022 batch.
Needl lets you instantly find any document, message, or file you need. It currently offers searching capabilities across Google Drive, Gmail, Notion, Slack, and more.
*As of 2/13/2024, Needl has pivoted to Aurelian, a platform that automates non-emergency 9-1-1 calls.
Anthony Khaiat, Founder of Boxd & MIT Sloan MBAn Candidate

A graduating fourth-year at the college, Anthony is majoring in Economics and Media Arts and Design (MAAD). His working experience as an undergraduate is diverse and extensive, ranging from credit analysis and LBO to product management and startup founder. After college, he has decided to pursue a Master of Business Analytics with a specialization in Data Science(MBAn) at MIT Sloan instead of starting a full-time Product Management role at Capital One. His plans after MIT is to work at a job that involves data analysis, like building AI.
